The qualification of “civil security citizen” makes the holder capable of correctly carrying out first aid actions intended to protect the victim and witnesses, to alert emergency relief, to prevent the worsening of the condition of the victim and to preserve his physical integrity while waiting for the arrival of the rescue.

The PSC 1 training is open to anyone (at least 10 years old) who needs to acquire the knowledge and behaviours necessary to prevent a danger situation, protect themselves and provide assistance.
The purpose of the PSC 1 teaching unit is to provide trainees with the necessary skills to carry out the activity of civil security citizen defined in the national civil security framework.
This qualification as a “civil security citizen” sets out the capacities necessary for the holder to be able to correctly carry out first aid actions intended to protect the victim and witnesses, to alert emergency aid, to prevent the worsening of the condition of the victim and to preserve his physical integrity while waiting for the arrival of the rescue.
The training is divided into nine parts, making it possible to consider the main situations that participants may face:
- Discomfort and Alerting
- Wounds and protection
- Burns
- Trauma
- External bleeding
- Airway obstruction by a
foreign object
- Loss of consciousness
- Cardiac arrest and alerting
- Population Alert
Duration: 7 hours minimum
Attend all phases of the course and perform a scenario.
There is no obligation to retrain this training. We recommend a new session every 3 years.
